Job Description.
We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to streamline and automate business processes.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, customize ServiceNow modules, and ensure the platform aligns with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities.
Design and Development: Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
Develop workflows, UI actions, client scripts, business rules, and other customizations.
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and APIs.
Module Expertise.
Implement and manage ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or others as needed.
Build and maintain Service Catalogs and Knowledge Bases.
Platform Administration.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
Monitor and optimize platform performance.
Collaboration And Support.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Provide end-user training and support for the platform.
Ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
Documentation And Reporting.
Maintain detailed technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and workflows.
Develop and generate reports and dashboards as requested.
Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
ServiceNow certifications (e g , Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator) are highly preferred.
4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
Skills And Competencies.
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, etc).
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow's role in IT Service Management.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AngularJS, or other front-end technologies is a plus.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Preferences.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with advanced modules (e g , CMDB, Discovery, Performance Analytics).
