Job Description

About the Role :

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience in IT/software sales.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales and technical teams to develop customized solutions, create compelling presentations, and assist in closing deals by demonstrating product value.

Responsibilities :

- Work with sales teams to understand customer business needs, technical requirements, and pain points.

- Conduct thorough discovery calls and meetings.

- Develop tailored solutions that address specific customer challenges and demonstrate the value of our products.

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and align with product capabilities.

- Deliver engaging and persuasive product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.

- Customize demonstrations to address specific customer use cases and requirements.

- Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and technical solutions to prospective clients.

- Clearly articulate the value proposition and differentiate our solutions from competitors.

- Assist in responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFIs (Requests for Information), and client queries.

- Ensure timely and accurate responses that highlight our strengths and capabilities.

- Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and ensure solutions align with product roadmap.

- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

- Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities and position our solutions effectively.

- Provide technical guidance and training to the sales team to enhance their understanding of products and services.

- Develop sales tools and collateral.

- Utilize CRM tools (e., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, manage opportunities, and generate reports.

- Continuously seek ways to improve the pre-sales process and enhance the customer experience.

Skills & Experience :


- 4-7 years of experience in pre-sales or solution consulting in the IT/software industry.

- Strong knowledge of SaaS products, cloud computing, and enterprise solutions.

- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to translate technical features into business benefits.

- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and proposal creation software.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
