Must Have Skills
6+ years of experience in the contact center domain, specializing in call recording systems.
Strong proficiency in C/C++
Deep expertise in media transcoding, codec optimization (e.g., G.711, G.722, OPUS, AMR), and handling audio stream formats for VoIP communication
Expertise in transcoding libraries and tools such as FFmpeg , GStreamer , and MediaCodec , including their optimization and customization
Expertise in audio streams manipulation
Deep understanding of media compression principles, bitrate optimization, and quality trade-offs to ensure efficient media delivery
Familiarity with real-time communication protocols such as WebRTC, SIP, and RTP /SRTP for seamless integration with audio streams
Advanced knowledge of packet capture, dissection and protocol decoding
Experience in networking - DNS, DHCP, SSH, NAT, QoS, TCP/IP etc
Strong coding skills with an eye for using the right algorithms and data structures
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and decision-making skills
Disciplined approach to documentation
Ability to lead, partner, and collaborate cross functionally across an engineering organization
Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
