Sales Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to drive the sales of Grundfos Pumps, Qua UF Membranes & EDIs, Siemens Motors within the Water Treatment OEMs and Commercial Building Segment. The ideal candidate will be a mechanical engineer with 3 to 5+ years of experience in the pump industry, with proven expertise in working with reputed brands such as Kirloskar, Xylem, KSB, or similar. The role will require you to develop relationships with key customers, provide technical consultation, and deliver tailored solutions to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Water Treatment and Commercial Building sectors, focusing on OEMs.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical advice on Grundfos Pumps, Qua UF Membranes & EDIs, and Siemens Motors, demonstrating product benefits and suitability for specific applications.
• Solution Customization: Develop tailored solutions to meet customer requirements, leveraging product knowledge and engineering expertise.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic sales initiatives and product development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, marketing, and product management teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and product offerings.
• Sales Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and reports, tracking progress against targets and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to customers and internal teams on product features and applications.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales within the pump industry, with familiarity in water treatment applications.
• Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge of pump systems and related technologies, with experience in working with recognized brands (e.g., Kirloskar, Xylem, KSB).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach.
