Mep Engineer

Role & responsibilities

MEP engineers design, install, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in buildings. They work with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the systems meet building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:-

• Design: Analyze building layout and purpose to design systems that meet the building's needs
• Install: Oversee the installation of systems, ensuring they meet codes and regulations
• Maintain: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the systems
• Test: Test and commission systems to ensure they are working properly
• Coordinate: Work with other professionals to ensure systems integrate with the building's design
• Provide advice: Provide technical advice to supervisors and service providers
• Prepare cost estimates: Provide cost estimates for the installation of systems
• Ensure compliance: Ensure systems comply with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
