MEP Engineer

Job Description:

1. To coordinate all MEP related activities at project site.

2. To guide and advise on all equipments as per drawings and consultants advise during the

construction and commission stages.

3. To provide guidance to contractors and sub coordinate and ensure work quality meets our

requirements.

4. To ensure proper design coordination is achieved before the commencement of work

(collect GFC drawings before starting work).

5. To ensure that contractors prepare shop drawings and obtain approval from respective

consultants/authority before executing the work.

6. To refer to the tender approved specifications for all services and follow up with the

contractor.

7. To ensure the checking of electrical/mechanical, plumbing drawings, specifications, and

brands quality. Provide guidelines to contractors site engineer and supervisors from time to

time.

8. To commission services as per the drawings and approved method statements.

9. To prepare the variation sheet time to time in coordination with contractors.

10. To supervise the workmanship of work carried out, highlight conflict areas, and resolve

issues.

11. Conducting quality control checks and inspecting completed work.

12. To certify work executed quantities and conduct random checks to certify the quality of

material.

13. To check the RA bill, final bill quantity, and quantity inspection site measurement as per the

tender.

14. To ensure rechecking of the final as-built drawings prepared by contractors along with the

operation.

15. To provide support to the FM team for work related to MEP as and when required.

16. To prepare and submit monthly progress report.
