Financial and Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Production and analysis of daily liquidity reporting FR2052a for our Combined US Operations (IHC and CUSO) on t+2 basis
ensure the LCR ratio is calculated in line with FRB rules and instructions
develop an understanding of the CUSO products and businesses in relation to the US Liquidity rules
ensure changes in Liquidity reporting control requirements are implemented
perform data accuracy deep dive to identify and assess data integrity issues, raise issues through appropriate data quality forums, establish tactical controls, and assess impact to prior filings
review of Regulatory Reporting System (Axiom) logic against reporting instructions, linkages between schedules to highlight discrepancies and determine / recommend changes for IT solutions
prior to the report production, team is involved in preparation of daily balance sheet of all material US legal entities. In addition to this, this role will provide an exposure to broad range of change processes as we look to improve production activities/processes along side the integration activities The role will be part of regional regulatory reporting team to manage the day-to-day activities deliverables of the reporting team. The team is involved with production of daily and monthly Liquidity and Funding report (2052a) is submitted to regulator. You ll be working as part of Americas Regulatory Reporting team based at Pune. The team focusses on calculation, control, review filing of key regulatory metrics in Liquidity Funding area and Branch reporting review regulatory reporting validation exceptions to flush out static data exceptions that impact regulatory filings and accordingly remediate upstream. Assess impacts to regulatory reports prior to filing
manage the continuous assessment enhancement of regulatory reports, including the retention of supporting documentation and operational risk identification, and where necessary the remediation
a university degree in finance with a strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably a CA qualification or MBA Finance from a reputed institute)
strong knowledge of banking products, US GAAP and US Regulatory Reporting requirements (2052a.) and 6+ years experience in financial services industry (regulatory reporting, financial and product control, liquidity, treasury)
demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting production, review and submission.
good understanding of accounting concept- Regulatory Reporting experience within the financial services industry will be an added advantage
practical experience in MS Excel and application Axiom
