Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and securing network traffic using advanced technologies such as Zscaler and Algosec. This role will focus on ensuring secure and optimized network access and firewall management for both internal and external traffic

Responsibilities:

Configure, manage, and optimize Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) to ensure secure and seamless web access for users across the organization.
- Utilize Algosec Firewall Analyzer and Appviz to track and manage firewall rules, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Implement and manage secure network traffic filtering and access control policies across a multi- cloud environment.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshooting issues, and resolving network access problems as needed.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure that network security measures are in place and compliant with the organization s Security posture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience in related field.
- 5-10 years professional experience managing and maintaining network systems.
- Proven experience with Zscaler ZIA , ZPA , ZDX , and Algosec Firewall Analyzer/Appviz.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and access control technologies.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of DNS, SSL inspection, and IPS/IDS technologies.
- Familiarity with network security best practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

Certification in Zscaler, Cisco, or other networking/security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP).

Experience with cloud security and virtual networking.
