Role: Security Engineer

Experience: 5-10 Years

Job description:

We are looking for a Security Engineer specializing in email security and endpoint management. The ideal candidate will manage Mimecast Email Gateway for email security and use Tanium for endpoint management and security across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Administer and optimize Mimecast Email Gateway to protect the organization from email- based threats such as phishing, malware, and spam.
- Implement and enforce email security policies including DMARC, DKIM, and SPF configurations.
- Manage Tanium for endpoint monitoring, asset management, and security posture management.
- Perform endpoint vulnerability assessments and remediation using Tanium s endpoint

Monitor and respond to alerts generated by Mimecast and Tanium to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with other security teams to ensure the security of both email communications and endpoints across the organization.
- Conduct security awareness training related to email threats and endpoint protection.
Qualifications

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience in related field.
- 5-10 years professional experience managing and maintaining network systems.
- Experience managing Mimecast Email Gateway and related email security technologies.
- Proficiency in Tanium endpoint management , including asset discovery, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and endpoint protection practices.
- Experience with endpoint threat detection and response (EDR) like Sentinel One
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to email and endpoint security incidents.
Certifications:
Certifications in email security from Mimecast, Proofpoint or any other.
Certifications in Endpoint management or security like Tanium, Sentinel or any other.
