Job Summary:

The Head of Branch Banking and Retail Liability Products will lead the strategic development and execution of products, processes, marketing, and sales policies within the Bank's Branch Banking division.

The role is focused on enhancing market share, profitability, and growth in liability products and third-party offerings, while ensuring alignment with the Bank's vision and mission.

The role will also oversee branch expansion strategies and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development & Planning:

- Formulate and implement the Branch Banking division's strategy, ensuring alignment with the Bank's overall vision and mission.

- Develop cohesive and integrated marketing and sales policies for liability products and third-party offerings to achieve maximum market share and profitability.

- Drive the development of branches as the face of the Bank, enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction.

- Create and execute branch expansion strategies to strengthen the Bank's presence and business reach.

Policy & Process Management:

- Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls across the Branch Banking division, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative and procedural requirements.

- Ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery while maintaining high-quality standards for customers.

Financial Performance Management:

- Consolidate, recommend, and monitor the Retail Liabilities division budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

- Track financial performance against the budget, identify areas of underperformance, and capitalize on opportunities for cost reduction or performance improvement.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 15-20 years of relevant experience in Branch Banking and Retail Liability Products, with a proven track record of strategic planning and execution at a senior leadership level.

- Leadership: Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to lead a large, dynamic team.

- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of banking liability products, branch operations, and third-party services.

Location: Willingness to be based in Cochin, Kerala, and travel as required
