About the role

Name of the position: Simulation engineer Powertrain Durability

Educational Qualification: B.E Mech/ B.E Auto

Position Description:

1. Independently handle delivery of 2-Wheeler powertrain durability simulations

2. Interact with design leads to understand the project scope, resource allocation, work prioritization and on-time project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Good engineering fundamentals - Strength of materials, Applied mechanics, Finite element methods, Powertrain simulations and fatigue

Proficient in Linear and Non-linear static analysis, Modal, Harmonic and PSD response simulation of components and assemblies

Perform duty cycle based fatigue simulation on 2W components and sub-assemblies

Design optimization and propose design changes based on FEA analysis, manufacturing and packaging constrains

Establishing Correlation between Test Results and Simulation

Ensuring 100% Quality & On-Time Delivery

Optimization based for weight and cost reduction

Develop methods to capture new failure modes and improve predictions for existing failure modes

Hands on experience with HyperMesh, HyperView, Nastran / Optistruct, FEMFAT / Hyperlife / n-code
