Purpose of the role:

Maintain Fixedasset register complying with accounting requirements

Safeguardingthe companys assets & properties

Maintainaccounts hygiene

Role Description:

Capitalize assets with asset number foridentification

Apply appropriate asset class and useful lifein line Company's policy

Organize Physical verification of assets asper Company policy

Process the approved documents for movement ofassets across plants and supplier locations

Process the documents for movement of assetsto scrap yard

Provide required information to Insurancesection for coverage

Analyze Capital WIP and take necessary action

Account the variance of physical verificationwith proper approval

Remove assets from register on approval ofscrap disposal note

Deactivate assets moved to other plant /update location on movement to supplier location
