Role & responsibilities

• Ability to manage a team of DevOps engineers

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Configuration Management

• Monitoring and Logging

• Cloud Services: Leveraging cloud computing platforms such as Oracle, AWS Cloud Platform to deploy and scale applications.

• Containerization: Using containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to package and deploy applications consistently across different environments

• Collaboration and Communication

• Security: Integrating security practices into the development and operations workflow, such as implementing secure coding practices, vulnerability scanning, and access control

• Automated Testing: Implementing automated testing frameworks and practices to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases.

• Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure to improve overall system performance and scalability.

• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Documenting processes, configurations, and best practices, and sharing knowledge with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.

• Incident Management: Responding to and resolving incidents and outages in a timely manner, and conducting post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, and/or a related field

• 4 to 7 years of Experiences

• Jenkins, SonarQube

• SVN / GIT / GitHub / GitLab

• Cloud automation using (GIT / GitHub / GitLab)

• JFrag, Helm, Bitbucket

• Linux and groovy scripting knowledge

• Basic coding knowledge for debugging and implement features or addon needed.

• Tomcat / JBoss / Wildly

• Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL

• Docker / Kubernetes
