Position Summary
Retired technocrat with extensive experience in R&M consultancy for Thermal Power Plants (TPP), including preparation of bankable DPRs and cost-benefit analysis, to lead the R&M/Consultancy team.

Responsibilities and Authority

• Handle all R&M consultancy and related projects (ESP, BOP, CHP) for thermal power plants.
• Represent TUV SUD in technical discussions with customers.
• Manage R&M consultancy business, including the P&L of the division.
• Liaise with customers and electricity regulatory bodies like CEA for technical and commercial matters.
• Conduct R&M consultancy, including preparation of bankable DPRs and cost-benefit analyses.
• Act as the business analyst in charge of the division.
• Conduct market analysis for the R&M consultancy business unit.
• Prepare reports related to the R&M consultancy business.

Education and Experience

• 15-25 years of experience in thermal power plants, with at least six years in a reputed consultancy firm involved in R&M consultancy, preparation of bankable DPRs, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of RLA, CA of TPP, water audits, performance testing, steam path audits, and energy audits of BTG and BOP areas.
• Proven track record in improving heat rate and efficiency of older power plants.
• Familiarity with government regulations and regulatory boards.
• Up-to-date knowledge of advancements in thermal power plants.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Number of consultancy projects executed on a nomination basis.
• Value delivered in consultancy work.

Specific Skills & Knowledge

• Expertise in R&M, CHP, BOP, ESP, and preparation of bankable DPRs.
• Ability to liaise effectively with regulatory bodies.
