Drupal Developer

• Develop company s CMS applications using Drupal, PHP, and JavaScript
• Candidate must be able to switch between UI and server-side code
• Create, test, and document REST APIs
• Work with NoSQL and relational databases to design database schemas
• Ability to use responsive web design principles to develop apps across multiple devices
• Perform end-to-end unit and automated tests
• Manage code and projects using Git, GitHub, and Phabricator

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Extensive experience in PHP, JavaScript, and CSS
• Must have experience in MySQL, REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP(S), and AJAX
• Demonstrable UX/UI experience for web and mobile projects
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development experience
• Ability to manage tasks autonomously required for each sprint
• Demonstrable experience with LAMP stack development and system administration
• Solid understanding of Web application and micro-services design patterns
• Experience with OAuth and/or other authentication tokens to protect Web services using an API is preferred
• Prolific experience in MySQL, relational databases, and schema design
• Prior experience integrating Drupal with third-party systems with a variety of APIs and styles
• Experience with Git Source control and/or Phabricator and pull requests is preferred
• Experience with Solr is a bonus
• Comfortable working in Linux/Apache environment
• Ability to quickly ramp up new technologies and think at scale
• Experience with software development design and development from requirements analysis to day-to-day management
• Solid understanding of project management principles
• Problem-solving and analytical ability
• Prolific knowledge of Drupal and a quick learner to migrate into Drupal 8, 9, and over
• Experience with AWS tools such as: EC2, S3, Route 53, and RDS is nice to have
• Experience documenting functional software specifications
• Prior experience using Angular, React, or jQuery for front-end development
• Experience using Agile methodologies
• Professional experience in modern CMS Web development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, etc.)
• Experience using Drupal 7 & 8, creating complex PHP code, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs to build CMS applications
• Prior Node.js experience and developing middleware that integrates front-end with web services, databases, caches, and proxies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
