Job Description
- Develop Django-based websites using Python and PostgreSQL
- Work with large data sets, including scripting imports, exports, data cleaning, analysis, etc.
- Write effective and scalable code
- Test and debug programs
- Improve functionality of existing systems
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Assess and prioritize feature requests
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to comprehend user requirements and provide technical solutions
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Extensive experience with Django
- Nice to have experience in Python (Django) and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails is preferred
- Prior experience with JavaScript and HTML5 is a plus
- Fluent in verbal and written English
