Job Description
- Build search functionality, architected search function, clusters, etc.
- Champion new technologies and enforce the best development patterns
- Rebuild the search infrastructure, from data ingestion to indexing to cluster configuration to query optimization
- Work on the event-driven system and indexing side of things
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- 5+ years of Elasticsearch or Solr experience
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, IronMQ, AWS SQS, or similar technologies is nice to have
- Experience working with event-driven systems and building search infrastructure
- Some e-commerce background would be nice
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
