PHP Developer

• Assist the team in developing digital tools to empower users to buy better
• Help shape the company s solution development and impact
• Contribute to all technical aspects of the company s strategy, product development, and system operations
• Architect new designs and features on the company s CMS
• Own the code quality and DevOps of the WordPress website to maintain a robust system that enables product improvements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
• Extensive experience in PHP/MySQL development, including custom WordPress themes built on Advanced Custom Fields
• Expertise in SOLID code and developing highly scalable code and systems
• Prior front-end development experience is required
• Comprehensive knowledge of React, Redux, and Styled components
• Demonstrable experience in back-end development
• Prolific experience in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar RDBMS
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs design and implementation
• Working knowledge of NoSQL and familiarity with MongoDB
• Experience developing effective product delivery mechanisms
• Ability to collaborate with the product team to deliver meaningful improvements in user experience on a regular cycle
• Working knowledge of highly distributed/remote teams
• Nice to have experience working in a startup environment
• Exposure to the parse framework is preferred
• Experience working with Figma is a plus
• Understanding CI/CD and the life cycles of app development is preferred but not required
• Familiarity working with AWS and exposure to DevOps processes is a bonus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
