Software Engineer

• Contribute to product expansion projects, such as the greenfield creation of new product verticals and the horizontal expansion of current integrations to expand data coverage and depth
• Ensure that our services operate dependably and effectively at scale by creating, testing, and maintaining integrations that adhere to security, scalability, and performance standards
• Adopt a detail-oriented approach to challenges and drive initiatives to completion
• Regularly deploy efficient code
• Participate in significant product efforts that may include several teams
• Write code with an understanding of the roadmap's priorities and with scalability, testability, and maintainability in mind
• Utilize cutting-edge observability tooling and good engineering practices to quickly troubleshoot bugs across the stack

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• 3+ years of relevant back-end development experience working in a start-up environment
• Demonstrable experience working with APIs
• Knowledge of system-design best practices and experience working with distributed systems
• Experience using Git in a professional environment
• Prolific experience working with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Experience using a cloud provider like AWS is desirable
• Nice to have some experience using a distributed messaging system
• In-depth knowledge of testing best practices and TDD is nice to have
• Prior experience executing and delivering on projects with high ambiguity
• Nice to have prior experience working in a remote-first environment with cross-functionality across multiple teams to deliver high-quality products
• Demonstrable knowledge of agile best practices and how to leverage them to release faster
• Must have a solid technical understanding of the software development process
• Ability to influence stakeholders, including technical leaders and executive management
• Excellent English communication skills, both conversational and written
