Technical Development Manager

• Establish project objectives, scope, deadlines, and deliverables in collaboration with data engineers and stakeholders
• Make a thorough project plan that outlines all of the data engineering duties and activities that are required
• Make the right resource allocations to guarantee that the data engineering team has the equipment, manpower, and resources needed to finish the project on schedule
• By being aware of data quality, security, privacy, and compliance issues and taking proactive measures to solve them while also identifying potential risks associated with data engineering jobs and developing methods to mitigate them
• Work closely with analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and other team members to guarantee smooth departmental collaboration and communication
• When necessary, give the team required technical advice
• Use Agile or other project management techniques in accordance with the needs of the project to guarantee adaptation and flexibility during the development phase
• Keep thorough project records, such as data dictionaries, architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications
• Encourage the data engineering team to accept new tools and technologies, learn from previous projects, and promote best practices as a means of fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Establish proper testing and validation procedures to guarantee that the data engineering deliverables live up to the highest quality standards
• Keep stakeholders, especially senior management and clients, informed and involved by regularly communicating project progress, issues, and outcomes
• Develop a close rapport with clients by learning about their data engineering requirements and making sure they are happy with the solutions you provide

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 10+ years of relevant experience as a Technical Development Manager
• Demonstrable experience working as a Tech Lead and/or Data Engineer
• Prolific experience working with Data Migration and Spring Boot
• Nice to have some knowledge of Azure, Microservices, and GraphQL
• Familiarity with data integration, data modeling, data wareh ousing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and big data technologies
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
