Senior Back-End Engineer

• Capability to convey difficult technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems clearly and concisely, as well as propose thorough iterative solutions
• Experience with performance and optimization issues, as well as a demonstrated ability to detect and prevent these issues
• Long-term ability to onboard and integrate into an organization
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• 5+ years of experience in Python 3 and Flask/SQLAlchemy in a dockerized environment
• Knowledge of DevOps is nice to have
• Ability to use Git, AWS, Docker, and VSCode
• Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
• A mindset that is positive and solution-oriented
• Effective English communication skills to consistently reach consensus with peers and provide clear status updates
• A proclivity for communication, inclusivity, and visibility
