Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the k8s infrastructure design of the core FinTech platform
- Build and improve the security and resilience of the AWS cloud
- Work with technologies such as AWS, Go, Python, gRPC, Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, NoSQL and SQL databases
- Eager to be part of a team of strong software engineers executing in an exciting, dynamic environment
- Build and improve the developer experience, including but not limited to code generation tools, CI/CD platform, testing environment, and observability
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience with Infrastructure As Code or as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- 3+ years of experience in Kubernetes with EKS, preferably in a fast-growing environment
- At least 3+ years of experience building scalable, reliable CI/CD pipelines
- At least 5+ years of experience with AWS
- Strong hands-on knowledge with either Python or Golang-based scripting
- Prolific experience with common observability stacks such as Datadog, Grafana, Lightstep, and ElasticSearch
- Solid understanding of the Linux Operating System, standard networking protocols, and components
- Prior experiences working with service mesh solutions such as Istio, Envoy or Linkerd is desirable
- Solid experience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning is preferred
- Track record of managing mission critical, 24x7 production software systems is nice to have
