Android Engineer

• Design architectures and construct components that give quick, seamless experiences to users across the world
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement features and develop experiences that are user-friendly
• Engage in various development phases ranging from technical design, development, testing, etc.
• Review code and design documents, as well as product specifications and mockups, and provide feedback
• Lead a group of enthusiastic engineers to achieve the business goals
• Set and define standards to improve developer workflows and recommend best practices
• Mentor and assist engineers on the team in their professional development

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience as an Android Engineer
• Prolific experience working with Java or Kotlin
• Sound software engineering fundamentals
• Experience going against tradition and implementing new ways to build software
• Expertise in developing scalable, well-designed software that is beneficial
• Track record of building Android applications with a team from scratch
• Drive technical strategy, architecture, and execution for one of the largest apps in the world
• Prior experience building high-performance feeds-based or media-rich Android apps is nice to have
• Bilingual skills with fluency in English is desirable
