Web Back-End Engineer

• Showcase a familiarity with a variety of back-end languages and libraries
• Create libraries and reusable programming for the future
• Work along with the rest of the team and the stakeholders
• Independently create new modules or features from start to finish

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
• Extensive working knowledge of PHP, API Integrations, Third-party APIs, and webhooks
• Knowledgeable about API integrations and confident learning new languages and frameworks for websites, CRMs, and API documentation quickly
• Familiarity with the following or similar services like Stripe, Salesforce, Recurly, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or Sailthru is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of gated content/paywall websites, API calls and integrations, and digital subscriptions would be nice
• Some experience with WordPress and Drupal is preferred
• Prior experience creating websites with back-ends that utilize templates, blocks/modules, custom fields, etc. (such as Drupal, Blox Digital, WordPress, etc.) is desirable
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
