What we are looking for:
- Role: Business Development Manager.
- Location: Bangalore.
- Experience Required: 5-10 years.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base of our portfolio companies and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of business deals and contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to drive business growth.
- Develop and deliver presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products or services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and results.
Our ideal candidate:
Functional Skills:
- 5-10 years experience in a sales/business development role.
- Bachelor's/Marketing degree in Marketing/Business Management.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a demonstrated ability to close complex deals.
Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
- Proactive attitude and highly enthusiastic.
