SAP TM Consultant - Support & Implementation (7-9 yrs)

We are seeking a seasoned SAP TM (Transportation Management) Architect with 7+ years of experience to lead and architect SAP TM solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of SAP TM functionalities and demonstrate expertise in freight consolidation, freight orders, and freight settlement for self-billing. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to define and deliver optimal SAP TM solutions and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of SAP TM solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business processes.

- Define and implement strategies for freight consolidation, freight orders, and self-billing freight settlements.

- Act as the lead consultant or architect for SAP TM implementation and enhancement projects.

- Drive the new scope signing processes with detailed business requirement analysis and solution proposals.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand current transportation processes and recommend improvements leveraging SAP TM functionalities.

- Develop and document functional and technical specifications.

- Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP TM modules.

- Support project teams and ensure timely resolution of issues during implementation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and IT, to ensure integrated solutions.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills and Experience :

- Extensive experience with SAP TM functionalities, including Freight Consolidation, Freight Orders, and Freight Settlement.

- Proven experience in self-billing processes within the transportation domain.

- Hands-on experience with end-to-end SAP TM implementations, including configuration and customization.

- Familiarity with transportation planning, execution, and integration with other SAP modules like SAP ECC or S/4HANA.

- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading project teams and architecting solutions.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. SAP TM certification is a plus.

- Knowledge of Agile or other project management methodologies is beneficial.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
