Job Description
- Site Inspections:
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect ongoing work and ensure it aligns with design specifications and project standards.
- Verify that materials and finishes used on-site meet company and client expectations.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all works meet industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports detailing site inspections, identified issues, and corrective actions taken.
- Document any deviations from project plans and report to senior management.
- Coordination with Teams:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and contractors to address any quality issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicate effectively with on-site personnel to ensure quality control protocols are understood and followed.
- Problem Identification & Resolution:
- Identify and report potential issues or discrepancies in workmanship, materials, or designs.
- Recommend solutions or corrective actions to maintain the quality and integrity of the project.
- Client Interaction:
- Liaise with clients to understand their expectations and ensure that these are being met through quality control processes.
- Address any quality concerns raised by clients and ensure timely resolution.
- Final Inspections:
- Conduct final quality inspections upon project completion to ensure all work complies with client specifications and company standards.
- Ensure any snags or punch list items are rectified before handover to the client.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and design accuracy.
- Familiarity with interior design materials, finishes, and techniques.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and plans.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently on-site.
- A degree or diploma in interior design, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working on high-end residential or commercial interior projects.
- Familiarity with project management software or tools.
- Attention to detail
