Position: Regional Manager- Collateral (Business/Non -litigation Legal Manager)
Location: Mumbai

Job description

1. Good knowledge of Properties and properties related transactions.
2. Experience of scrutinizing and approving Title search report in the system.
3. In-depth knowledge of legal due diligence of the property.
4. Candidate should be well versed with local laws, local practices, processes and procedures followed in property lending market.
5. Knowledge of mortgages and various mode of creation of charge on the property
6. Well versed with drafting of various deeds and agreements.
7. Candidate must have good rapport with local practicing advocates.
8. Candidate must have thorough experience of handling litigations by and against the company. Coordination with Company’s Legal Advocates/Counsels on regular basis to discuss & strategizing for favourable disposal of pending cases. Maintain proper MIS of litigation
9. Handling customer’s grievances/notices to resolve the dispute and ensuring proper replies within time frame.
10. Experience of handling Police matter or any other Statutory Authority matters.
11. Experience of handling audit query (ies) and making proper compliances as per law.
12. Keep track of notifications, Circulars issues by the various local authorities (Revenue and Town Planning) and inform the same to the seniors.
13. Experience of imparting training to team members and cross function people on policy and property related matters.
14. Regular updates on market alerts.
15. Readiness to visit Branches under his region to understand local challenges and market.
