Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Pune
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and provide support across various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Develop and execute onboarding programs to integrate new employees effectively.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries.
    • Handle employee grievances, ensuring prompt resolution in compliance with company policies.
  3. HR Policies & Compliance:
    • Draft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  4. Training & Development:
    • Identify training needs and organize development programs.
    • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and guide managers in giving constructive feedback.
  5. Compensation & Benefits:
    • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee data and time records.
    • Administer employee benefits programs and address employee concerns.
  6. HR Metrics & Reporting:
    • Maintain HR dashboards to track key metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment status, and employee engagement.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports for management.
  7. Engagement & Culture Building:
    • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  8. Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain employee records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Support other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
