Pricing Role - Insights & Reporting (12-24 yrs)

- The role will involve building Insights from historical data, publish market trends and competition analysis.

- Complementing the efforts of the pricing and commercial teams with these insights. Provide in-depth analysis on deal financials, perform financial modelling to assess impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.

- Key stakeholders for this role include Sales & BD (Business Developer)/ GRM (Global Relationship Manager), Solution Lead, Practice Lead, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), IT (Information Technologies) lead, Transition leaders, Operating leaders, regional teams.

- Actively involved in pricing recommendations based off intelligence from historical pricing data and market reports.

Responsibilities:

- Standardize pricing, pricing policy making & governance

- Maintenance of historical pricing data, review and implement pricing policies. System based smart pricing (using historical deal data, market benchmarks and escalation matrices)

- Provide insights- market trends, industry benchmarks, competitor offerings, etc.

- Implement contracting guardrails to ensure rate uptick like COLA, FTE

- Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and reports to track pricing effectiveness and profitability.

- Develop pricing recommendations based off intelligence from historical pricing data and market reports.

- Develop inputs for pricing negotiations based on account, market, industry level insights.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to build pricing strategies and support business objectives.

- Monitor competitor pricing, industry trends and market changes in commercial models/pricing objectives.

- Identify improvement opportunities in pricing methodology, data management and reporting.

- Support implementation of pricing tools and systems to improve pricing accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications/skills:

- Experience analyzing revenue lines in detail for a large company/ division

- CA/ MBA Finance

- Expertise in MS Excel and Reporting

Preferred Qualifications/skills:

- Should possess good commercial bent of mind

- Ability to structure uniquely to company advantage as well as enable ease to sell

- Ability to link different terms and their impact on each other

- Good negotiation and communication skills

- Understanding of financial statements and their interplay
