About the Department:
The Market Development department is dedicated to driving growth and success through strategic market expansion and innovation. This department focuses on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, conducting thorough market research, and analyzing trends to understand the competitive landscape and customer needs. The team collaborates closely with key stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Execution teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies. By developing comprehensive market development strategies, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting the creation of impactful sales materials, the department plays a crucial role in expanding the company's footprint and achieving its long-term vision.
Overview of the Role:
The Vice President (VP) of Market Development at TresVista will be responsible for driving the company's market expansion strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, excellent collaboration and leadership skills, and a proven track record in market development. The VP will have an Associate supporting them and will be direct report to the Global Head of Market Development and Strategic Partnerships. This role may involve and require some business travel to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.
Key Role Deliverables:
▪ Developing and implementing market development strategies to drive business growth and market share
▪ Identifying and evaluating new market and product/service opportunities and developing compelling solutions and offerings for clients
▪ Leading market research and analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
▪ Analyzing competition and mapping and prioritizing target segments
▪ Creating effective strategies around product packaging, including pricing strategies, to enhance market appeal
▪ Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to align Market Development strategies with business objectives
▪ Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers
▪ Monitoring and reporting market development performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
▪ Preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and reports to internal and external stakeholders
▪ Representing TresVista at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the company's Market Development initiatives
Prerequisites:
▪ Proven track record of successfully developing and executing Market Development strategies
▪ Strong market analysis, research, leadership, relationship management, and strategic thinking skills
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
▪ Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Market Development, Business Development, or a related role
Education:
▪ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
▪ An MBA or equivalent is preferred
