Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities: 1. Global Compliance Oversight: o Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures and compliance tools across all departments and regions where the company operates (US, UK, Canada, UAE, India, Europe). o Stay updated on global regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with applicable laws and standards. o Collaborate with department heads to design training programs and ensure adherence to compliance frameworks. 2. Intellectual Property (IP) Management: o Conduct thorough IP searches to prevent third-party infringement risks associated with the company's pre-existing IP and deliverables. o Collaborate with technical and legal teams to assess risks, safeguard proprietary assets, and ensure proper usage of IP in client projects. o Provide strategic guidance on IP-related matters to protect the company's innovations. 3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: o Identify potential legal and compliance risks across all business operations and implement proactive measures to address them. o Develop systems for reporting, tracking, and resolving compliance-related issues. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration: o Act as a liaison between legal, technical, and business teams to ensure seamless communication and compliance alignment. o Partner with HR and department heads to ensure compliance with labor laws, data privacy regulations, and industry-specific standards. 5. Policy Development and Audit: o Draft, review, and enforce internal policies and procedures to uphold a strong compliance culture. o Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accurate reporting and swift resolution of findings.
