Asst.Manager Safety

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and Lead the overall Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
  Compliance on Legal and other requirements under Factories Act, 1948 .
• Perform the duties and responsibilities of safety officer under the Maharashtra Safety Officers Rules.
• Conducting Safety Inspections and Risk assessments of the processes.
• Advice on matters related to reporting and investigation of Industrial Accidents and Diseases.
• Promote employees through conducting various motivational programs.
• Certified for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and able to implement the standards in the division.
• Inspection of work areas in solid fuel boiler plant for any safety hazards.
• To improve the communication and involvement at all levels for HSE matters.
• To drive performance management, recognition and consequence management at project/plant site for HSE related matters.
• To Conduct Accident investigation, finding the root cause and prepare reports respectively.
• To set standards (HSE) for contractors management.
• Formed safety committee and maintaining safety committee meeting minutes
• To develop process for learning from incidents and emergency preparedness.
• To ensure that regular audits (HSE) are conducted, and observations are closed.

Preferred candidate profile B Tech/Diploma (Mechanical/ Electrical) with with Safety Diploma ( RLI/CLI) relevant experience of 5 to 10 years in food industry
