Store Manager Food (Engineering and RM &PM)

Role & responsibilities

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the procurement and stocking of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products in the store.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure accurate tracking.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage replenishment orders.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients.
• Address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience for employees.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to fulfill orders promptly.

Store Operations:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure that all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed in food storage and handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store layout.

Vendor Relationships:

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Budget Management:

• Assist in the preparation and management of the store's budget.
• Monitor expenditures, track sales, and report on financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, including cashiers and stock clerks.
• Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols for store operations.
• Handle any health and safety incidents or emergencies promptly.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven minimum 5 years of experience as Store Manager in FMCG Manufacturing Unit.
