Job profile:
Travmonde is a provider of touristic ground services, with the USP of providing guide and assistant services for every city worldwide. In order to further accelerate our growth, we are now looking for a Sales manager to grow our client base.
In this role you will be responsible for bringing new business and signing up new clients in line with our sales plans and targets and managing relationship and work from existing clients.
In addition, you will support the Operations team with the booking related all queries.
You will cooperate closely with the contracting team to ensure provider contracting and sales acquisition are working hand in hand and are aware of and influence each others strategies.

Reporting and key relationships:
● The role reports into the Chief Executive Officer / Next report line
● Key relationships with a wide set of worldwide clients.

  • Increase revenue (New customer acquisition) Key internal relationship with contractors, sales quotation executives and booking agents, as well as with the accounting team.


Key activities:

  • Looking for someone who can lead on Strategic planning, GTM strategies, New Client Acquisition, Client Management, Business development, Can hold on revenue generation etc.
  • Actively manage a broad range of key client accounts and maximize revenue and profitability.
  • To identify target customer and managing existing competitors
  • Evaluate both existing clients and potential new business to identify growth opportunities to drive revenue and profit streams
  • Plan, develop and implement sales strategies, incorporating annual sales and commercial plan for across geography.
  • Contribute to new business development through meeting and presenting to key prospective clients, attendance at key annual trade fair events
  • Establish and nurture strong and sustainable commercial relationships with clients
  • Ensure seasonal agreements and client contracts are signed completely and correctly within target rates and deadlines and filed in line with company policies
  • Maintain and update relevant client records with complete details using excel sheets.
  • Prepare offers for new and current clients on request basis, within deadlines and as per clients requirements and company mark-up policy.
  • Support Operations/booking team by providing rates & conditions for non-contracted go-ahead services
  • Prepare and analyse data and statistics & review capacity demand together with sales targets
  • Work closely with contractors in support of an effective provider contracting strategy by presenting data on sales rates, volume developments and service requirements as well as a prognosis for the coming season.
  • Cooperate closely with accounting team to solve all provider payment issues related to miscommunication of rate details on contracts


Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of travel industry, with specific focus on B2B group business
  • Strong commercial awareness with a working knowledge of Europe destination service background
  • Proven track record of success in an international and fast-moving sales environment
  • Solid networking and relationship building skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain trust with clients and strategic partners
  • Demonstrated ability to identify key customer needs
  • Demonstrated natural ability for turning opportunities into tangible business
  • Ability to understand and prioritize short- and long-term goals
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to interact and influence at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • A track record in reaching targets and KPIs and generating own business leads / referrals
  • Strategic mind-set, coupled with the ability to develop and present relevant and insightful analysis, including performance analysis, market trends and competitor analysis, in order to implement meaningful action plans based on the analysis
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and adhere to priorities in a fast pace environment
  • IT proficiency including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (with particular focus on manipulating data via excel) and internet technologies.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Experience in sales, operations, and product management.
