Key Result Areas :

1. Automated Test Development & Execution (70%)

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using appropriate tools and programming languages (e.g. , Java, Python, JavaScript) for web and API functionalities. (6 months)

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and feedback (3 months)

- Achieve and maintain a target automated test coverage percentage (to be defined based on project complexity).(Ongoing)

- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and track bug resolution.(Ongoing)

- Generate detailed test reports, including metrics on test coverage, pass/fail rates, and defect analysis (Monthly)

2. Expertise in Test Automation Practices (20%) :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in test automation tools and frameworks(Quarterly)

- Select and implement appropriate automation frameworks based on project requirements (As needed)

- Share knowledge and best practices through code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions(Quarterly)

3. Collaboration & Communication (10%) :

- Work effectively with developers, product managers, and other testers to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies(Ongoing)

- Communicate test results, findings, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders (written and verbal)(Ongoing)

Bonus KRA (if applicable) :

- Lead the automation initiative for a specific project, piloting new automation tools or frameworks(As assigned)

- Contribute to the performance or security testing efforts (if experience permits)(As assigned)

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in software development.

- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Extensive experience with web and API automation testing.

- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.

- In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with generating detailed test reports and defect analysis.
