Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing (4-5 yrs)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our product-based company in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and a passion for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure high-quality product releases.

- Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and defects using tools like JIRA.

- Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing to ensure product quality.

- Work closely with the development team to integrate testing into the software development process.

- Ensure API testing and back-end validation to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Contribute to the design and execution of the overall QA strategy and test automation framework.

- Continuously improve the testing processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure efficient and effective testing.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in automation testing tools like Selenium or other relevant tools.

- Proficient in JIRA, TestRail, or similar defect tracking and test management tools.

- Experience with API testing, using tools like Postman.

- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in testing for product-based companies.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.

- Exposure to testing cloud-based applications and services.
