Job Description

We are looking for experienced and highly skilled Network Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure while providing advanced-level support for Ciscos Silicon One™ networking products. The ideal candidates will have deep networking expertise and strong problem-solving skills, along with knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, and Python for automation and troubleshooting.

What You'll Do

• Provide L2 support for Cisco’s Silicon One™ networking solutions, troubleshooting issues.
  
• Analyze and debug networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VXLAN, TCP/IP, QoS, multicast, STP, LACP, and IPv6.
  
• Troubleshoot and optimize network configurations for performance, reliability, and security.
  
• Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues, working closely with L1 support and development teams.
  
• Perform packet captures, log analysis, and network diagnostics to identify and resolve critical networking issues.
  
• Automate troubleshooting tasks using C, C++, Python, or scripting tools.
  
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
  
• Liaise with internal development teams to escalate and resolve critical issues.
  

Who You Are

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering, troubleshooting, and support.
  
• Deep expertise in networking protocols, including but not limited to:
  
• Routing: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP
  
• Switching: VLANs, STP, LACP, VXLAN
  
• Traffic Engineering: MPLS, QoS, multicast, IPv6
  
• Security: ACLs, IPSec VPN, Firewalls, TACACS+/RADIUS
  
• Network Automation & Scripting: Using Python, C, C++ for network management and debugging
  
• Working experience with networking protocols such as, TCP/IPv4/IPv6, L2/L3 routing and switching, ARP, BFD, LACP, BGP.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills for network performance issues, connectivity problems, and protocol failures.
  
• Experience with network monitoring tools (Wireshark, TCPDump, NetFlow, SNMP, ELK Stack, Grafana, etc.).
  
• Familiarity with Cisco’s networking products, ASICs, and hardware platforms.
  
• Basic programming knowledge (C, C++, Python) for network automation and debugging.
  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and technical teams.
  
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments, handling critical escalations efficiently.
