JOB PURPOSE

To effectively handle the receivables collection responsibility, timely resolution of customer claims and timely updations of collection records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Propose credit limit request for new & existing customers, upload in system
• Perform financial analysis for customers providing financial data, prepare customer credit ratings from independent agencies. Based on the report forward the proposal to management
• OS circulation to branches on Weekly basis post due diligence
• System developments and automations
• Ensure containers/BL are released after obtaining proper approval, checking due/ overdue, collection status
• Monitor overdue invoices, outstanding debts and bad debts (anticipate developments and identify those accounts which require special attention)
• Calculation of provisions on quarterly basis
• Weekly/ monthly report circulation to business
• Branch review calls and circulate the MOM and monitor the MOM closely as per the agreement
• Credit data presentation in meeting, highlight receivables & DSO position
• Variance Analysis
• Review of top 20 customers
• Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors
• Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed by business and take necessary actions in case of violations
• Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
• Lead a team to achieve the company goals.
• Handle various corporate clients.
• Liaise with internal teams for smooth functioning of process between Operations, Invoicing and to manage DSO & receivables
• Understand client requirement and accordingly provide them with necessary reports

• Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Educational Qualification(s): Graduate or post graduate

Prior Experience: 10 years
