Junior Solutions Engineer

DESCRIPTION

• Acting as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise level clients of our GlobalLink suite of products, routing applicable issues to either our support or development group as well as supervising installs and upgrades of existing products
• Troubleshoot client issues in relation to database or content management system integrations
• Rolling out our products internally to different groups around the company, especially our translation memory and workflow products. Migration of TMs from other technologies to our own, and the required leverage testing will make up a large part of these projects.
• Training and ongoing support for internal production users of our tools
• Product Management - creating specifications of new features and tools based on experience in the industry and with similar tools
• Technical pre-sales tasks such as product demonstrations via webinar
• Perform other special projects or duties when required
• Complete all other tasks as assigned by a manager

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Good written and spoken communication skills in English preferred
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build relationships with clients and co-workers, work independently and as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service
• Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
• Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
• Candidates should have a set of well-grounded skills relating to at least two of the following: Database technologies, CMS technologies, Translation Memory Technologies, Regular Expression Scripting, Java, Web Scripting technologies

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Prior work experience in an IT Company at the similar role will be a plus
