Job Description: Transition Manager - Back Office Process

Overview

The Transition Manager is responsible for leading and managing the transition of business processes from one operational state to another in a seamless and efficient manner. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to services, and achieving key objectives related to cost, quality, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Plan and oversee the transition of back-office processes, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, and facilitate effective communication.
• Process Mapping and Documentation: Develop detailed process maps and documentation for current and future state operations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
• Training and Development: Coordinate training programs for staff to ensure they are fully equipped to handle new processes and systems.
• Quality Assurance: Establish quality metrics and conduct regular audits to ensure processes meet required standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of transitioned processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in transition management, project management, or a related role within a back-office environment.
