Transasia - Senior Planner - Supply Chain (3-4 yrs)

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning & Forecasting:

- Conduct in-depth market research and analyze historical data to develop accurate demand forecasts.

- Utilize advanced forecasting techniques and tools to predict future demand trends.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure demand plans align with business objectives.

Inventory Management & Optimization:

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels across the supply chain network.

- Identify and implement cost-saving measures related to inventory management.

- Monitor inventory levels closely and proactively address potential stockouts and overstocks.

Supply Chain Planning & Analysis:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive supply chain plans considering factors like lead times, production capacity, and supplier capabilities.

- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization strategies.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g, purchasing, production, logistics) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

- Possess excellent communication skills to present complex data and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

- Keep management informed of any potential supply chain disruptions and propose mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning with a proven track record of success.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.

- Experience with demand forecasting tools and techniques (e.g, statistical forecasting, machine learning)
