Job Description: SAP FICO Consultant
Department: Finance
Reporting Structure: VP - Finance Transformation
Location - Gurugram, Haryana
Job Type - Work from office (5 Days)
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules according to project requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of business processes within the finance domain, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Requirements Gathering: Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to document functional specifications and develop necessary product modifications.
- Testing and Support: Prepare and execute unit testing and user acceptance testing scripts; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO modules.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are well- equipped to utilize the SAP FICO functionalities effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Partner SAP consultants to ensure proper integration of FICO with other SAP modules; participate in cross-module support initiatives.
- Project Management: Manage overall SAP applications support & new projects with coordination of SAP AMS partners and third party consultants.
- User Support: Act as a point of contact for user queries related to SAP FICO; provide ongoing support during month-end close activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Min. 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SAP FICO Consultant.
- Experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of SAP FICO solutions.
Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC FICO modules, including configuration and testing; familiarity with S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of integration points between SAP FI, SD and MM
- Strong Troubleshooting skills on FICO Configurations & basic ABAP.
- Expertise in the FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-AA, Cost Centre, Profit Centre,
- Internal Order Process, Advance Received/Paid to Customer/Vendor, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
- Strong Knowledge in 3rd party Interface and Integrations like SFTP, IDOCs, Interface to bank.
- Should have knowledge in Automatic Payment Program, Foreign Currency Valuation, Substitution and Validation, Month end activities, Year-end closure, Settlement Process.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex business requirements effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Collaboration:
- Proven experience working in a team-oriented environment; ability to lead workshops and collaborate across departments.
- Co-ordinate with business team to understand the requirement, creating and reviewing the user Story, FS/Solution Document, Test Document and Conduct Functional Unit testing & UAT.
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree.
