Associate Technical Lead - Data Engineering

Responsibilities

• Measure the speed and efficiency of data processing pipelines. Includes evaluatingdata ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
• Assess the ability to scale infrastructure to handle increasing data volumes.
• Monitor the adaptability of systems to growing demands without compromisingperformance.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data stored and processed within the systems.Track the rate of data cleansing, validation, and error handling.
• Measure the effectiveness of algorithms and models used for data analysis. Involvesevaluating the efficiency and accuracy of predictive models or analytical algorithms.
• Monitor system uptime and availability. Track downtime incidents and measure systemreliability to ensure uninterrupted data processing.
• Assess the implementation and adherence to security protocols andindustry regulations. Monitor compliance with data protection standards and security.
• Evaluate the efficiency of data querying and retrieval processes. Measure queryresponse times and data accessibility for analytics and Reporting.
• Track resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage) to optimizeinfrastructure costs. Ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining performance
• Measure the impact of data engineering efforts on deriving actionable businessinsights. Assess how effectively data processing supports Decision-making.
• Assess contributions to collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing within the team ororganization. Evaluate the impact on improving team capabilities.

• Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Arabic and English languages.
• UAE National is preferable.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Highly experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of Big
• Data technologies and best practices.
• Familiar with designing and architecting complex data solutions and
• making strategic decisions about data infrastructure.
• Familiar with monitoring infrastructure and maintain it up-to-date withemerging technologies and trends in the field.
• Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Effective Execution of the major development activities of TelecomNetworks.
• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks.
• Data processing and querying languages.
• Understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data miningtechniques.
• Preferred ICT or Telecom knowledge background.
