understandingRole & responsibilities

The role is responsible delivering the IT related ISCM process development requirement, Oracle Costing setups, new & modification of costing reports as per the need, support for the new implementations & upgrades and need to support for the month end closure of books & addressing the issues.

As a consultant role

New Processes & reports impact understanding end to end testing/overview & final sign off to production for Domestic & IBD.

Any new Oracle Database upgradation & re-implementation project in Domestic & IBD Support.

System configuration and understand the impact for new Projects & process of domestic, IBD and upcoming projects.

Overview & Support of Sub Inventory & Org Creation for Domestic & IBD.

Overview & Support of SLA configuration & GST setup for new Org, Sub inventory & process.

Support of Documentation for reports development & modification (Domestic & IBD) along with the dedicated technical support person & if required with others.

Overview of Oracle ERP DR Mock Drill

Overview of Cost centre & GL code creation/block.

Overview & Support of System Update - LCP (LC Start date, Resource cost copy, Period Open & Lot cost burden move to Temp table) & Interface table data maintaining for Domestic & IBD.

Identify the process for simplification and automation for Bi Month end & Month end activities, TepGep process & GST as an initiative & improvements.

Co-ordinating with Oracle development team for service request (SR) raised from our end for any issues & development support.

Co-ordinating & aligning with other module functional consultants in IT team at factory & Corporate finance.

Costing Support

Support for month end closure for Domestic & IBD if any system issues

Overview of RCM walk through for few controls.

Batch Closure follow up & PSV support

Co-ordination for system related audit along with Auditors

Adherence to the process & checklist.

Supporting Costing team to clear the long pending GIT issues as on when.

People development

Set clear and challenging goals for team members as per timelines

Continuous feedback on team member's performance

Career conversations and development dialogue

Training, exposure & accountability to team members

External Interfaces:

Co-ordinating with the Internal & external audit requirements. Also responsible for the system related Audits.

Internal Interfaces:

• Production Team for the new process
• Costing team new requirements & issues addressing
• With IT team by co-ordinating with Functional & Technical consultant
• Commercial team new requirements
• GST new requirements & setups if any.
• Pricing- Institutional Sales team

Education:

• MBA-Finance /CMA /MBA-Finance /M.COM / B.COM Graduate

Experience:

• Having experience in Finance exposure, Costing, Accounting & Oracle system knowledge in Jewellery experience is preferable.
