Job Title: Hospitality Professional (Fresher)

Location: Hotel The Raj Palace www.rajpalace.com

Position: Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage Services

Job Summary:
As a Hospitality Professional, you will be introduced to a variety of core functions across the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage services departments. You will provide excellent customer service while learning and developing skills that are essential for the hospitality industry. You will assist in creating a positive guest experience and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Office:

  • Guest Check-in/Check-out: Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring smooth transitions and a welcoming experience.
  • Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, provide information about the hotels services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Reservation Management: Assist with room bookings and managing reservations.
  • Telephone Handling: Answer incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and provide information or resolve queries.
  • Maintain Guest Records: Ensure accurate data entry and update guest information in the hotel management system.

Housekeeping:

  • Guest Room Preparation: Assist with cleaning and preparing guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Public Area Maintenance: Ensure common areas (lobby, corridors, etc.) are clean and well-maintained.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and replenishing cleaning supplies and linens.
  • Guest Requests: Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities, cleaning services, or room supplies.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to hygiene standards and safety regulations in all areas of the hotel.

Food & Beverage Services:

  • Guest Interaction: Greet and seat guests in the dining areas and provide menus. Ensure guests are comfortable and have everything they need.
  • Order Taking: Assist in taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring timely service.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure tables, chairs, and dining areas are clean and organized. Set up and break down dining areas.
  • Food Safety: Follow health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and handling.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and efficient service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Freshers welcome, no prior experience required but a passion for hospitality and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Team-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in Hotel Management
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and hotel management software (desirable but not required).
