Senior Executive - Finance

This is an exciting opportunity to work in Business Finance Team for TimesPRO, a market leader in the Vocational Education and Professional Education sector.

The candidate will be required to manage the monthly financial reporting, revenue working, expense provisioning, variance analysis and commentary to BU leaders and Finance team for the Business Unit.

The position will work closely with Finance and Business stakeholders and update them about the performance of individual projects, analyse the overall cost for the business unit. Accuracy, skilful communication, analytical thinking with acumen approach is essentially needed. Main Responsibilities:

a. Preparation/ review of batch level pnl, getting approvals as per DMP, preparation of closing pnl, major variance analysis along with its reasons.

b. Critically evaluate the spends at batch level stating the approved budget and actual incurred.

c. Review of monthly provisions given by respective teams for BU.

d. Monthly variance analysis along with findings for reasons of variance after discussion with respective user team.

e. Monthly revenue working ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

f. Support in annual plan for the respective business unit.

g. Partner, Manage & Support the business and finance by reviewing BU performance, revenue targets and expense-reporting, analysis and comments.

h. Support the enhancement and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards and systems.

i. Communicate, discuss and challenge financial impacts with Business and Finance stakeholders. Prepare and present for BU/Finance related meetings sourcing data from multiple points where financial input/commentary is required/requested.

j. Oversee the vendor management team for the BU.

k. Ad hoc tasks occurring on Business Finance-function.

Advanced excel knowledge, analytical approach, working knowledge of SAP, good communication skills, automation of financial reports
