Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepares detailed data analytics routines, scripts, queries, and procedures that identify potential internal controls issues and recommend solutions.
- Contributes to the development of analysis and automation solutions which shape the scoping of audits, fraud reviews, and internal investigations.
- Understands industry-specific data analytics, business intelligence and quantitative analysis techniques.
- Employs multiple analysis and automation tools (e.g. SQL Server, Python, Tableau and Power BI) and audit methods, techniques and approaches for obtaining optimal results.
- Participates in discussions with management when communicating data analytic results and associated control recommendations.
- Researches and resolves difficult transactional issues.
- May provide functional data analytics advice or training to less experienced audit staff.
