Job Description :

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Analytics Consultant to join our analytics team. In this role, you will analyse and interpret complex datasets to support digital support platforms, payments, and risk platform performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SQL, Python, and Tableau, with expertise in building data pipelines, automated dashboards, and insightful reports to drive business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain clear, concise KPI reporting on the performance of online digital support, payments, and risk platforms by analysing web metrics and payment tools.

- Conduct data mining and pattern analysis across various data points to uncover trends and correlations.

- Execute end-to-end analysis on digital and payment touchpoints, from data gathering to data processing and analysis of large and complex data sets.

- Perform deep-dive analysis of user behaviour, customer journeys, and other key metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital and payment initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancement.

- Present analytics findings and research results to business teams, providing actionable recommendations.

- Gather, analyse, and transform large data sets into business models using SQL and Python, while building narratives around the data; create and automate Tableau dashboards for efficient reporting.

- Build and maintain complex data pipelines and Airflow DAGs to support various internal self-serve analytics functions.

- Ensure high data quality and integrity for analysis and reporting, collaborating closely with global operations and India analytics teams.

- Apply descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to solve business problems within the assigned scope using advanced analytical tools and techniques.

Requirements :

Technical Skills (Must Have) :

- Proficiency in Intermediate Python, Advanced SQL (Window Functions, DML/DDL Commands, CTEs, Subqueries, etc) for data analysis and building end to end data pipelines.

- Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency in Tableau, Airflow, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, Ad-hoc analysis, business insights and Power Point/Keynote.

- Experience with data warehouses/data lakes, including platforms like Presto, Hive, Teradata, and Spark.

- Ability to write complex queries and strong understanding of database concepts.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for quickly learning new tools and techniques.

- Proficient in data analysis and presentation, with a strong ability to communicate insights clearly.

- Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and own projects from start to finish.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of payment processes, systems, and tools.

- Understanding of risk/compliance processes and data requirements.

- Experience with Unix Shell scripting for data pipeline automation and analysis.

- Knowledge of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms (e.g. regression, clustering).

Education :

1. Bachelor's degree with postgraduate studies in Management Science, Analytics, or a related field.

2. 3-5 years of relevant experience in analytics roles within large corporations or consulting firms
