Project Coordinator - Bharat Net OFC Projects

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination, communication, and management of the various tasks and stakeholders involved in this large-scale project. This role requires someone who can manage complex logistics, track project milestones, handle project-related documentation, and ensure timely delivery of all project activities in alignment with RFPs requirements and quality standards.

Role & responsibilities

Project Coordination:

• Act as the central point of contact for all project-related communication within the Consortium. Facilitate seamless coordination between all stakeholders, including Consortium partners, Client, vendors, and contractors. Ensure the alignment of project objectives with the overall strategy and goals of the project. Track and communicate project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues to all relevant stakeholders.

2. Project Management Support:

• Assist in the development and management of project plans, timelines, and schedules for the various stages of the project implementation. Monitor progress on various project tasks and work with team members to resolve any issues or delays promptly. Ensure that all project documentation, including contracts, agreements, plans, and reports, are accurate, up-to-date, and properly archived.

3. Supply Chain Management:

• Coordinate the procurement and timely delivery of necessary materials, equipment, and resources required for the project, in alignment with project timelines. Work closely with suppliers and logistics teams to monitor inventory, material availability, and transportation to project sites. Track and report on supply chain progress, addressing any delays or issues that may arise.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting notes and action plans. Create and maintain detailed records of all project communications, contracts, and approvals. Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to Client and internal management. Track and document the projects financial expenditures, ensuring that all invoices, payments, and costs are processed and aligned with the budget.

5. Stakeholder Management:

• Cultivate strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the efficient flow of information, identify potential risks, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering with PG in Project Management.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in telecom /OFC Laying projects.
• Familiarity with the BharatNet project or similar government telecom infrastructure projects is preferable.
